I have a spreadsheet widget in which the last column and the last row calculate the sums of previous columns/rows. I would like to generate an error message for the user if the totals do not match the totals calculated in another field within the same form. Do you have sample CSS codes for this process?

This is not something that can be done with CSS. You'll want to include conditional logic on your form where if the condition is met you can show a field that says they don't match.
