Missing submission content

Hi Elton,

I'm having a problem with an active form. People are submitting information, the form is sending notification emails to the various parties who are supposed to receive them. However, the submission content is not being added to the email AND the form data is not showing up in submissions.

Most of the fields are required also the first field "IMCA" or "PAWC". This is a required field with conditions.

One user must have filled it out because the condition was filled out and was also displayed in the submission.

But the content of the option field "IMCA" or "PAWC" was missing also in the submission itself.

But all the other users have also filled out the field and there was no problem, the content was correctly shown in the notification and also in the submission.

Hi Ute,

So far I only found 1 that's blank on the "Meldeschein für Agility Turnier:" field. Are you editing that time or did you modify your form that time when you received the submission with missing data? Did you embed your form on your website? Sorry but yours is a very rare case so I am suspecting it was due to one of this. I am not sure how the user was able to bypass that field, he might have faulty browser with javascript disabled. Did you try to get in touch with that user and ask about the copy of his submission with missing info? Sorry to say but there is no way we can find or retrieved this since there is no data submitted to that field unless it was deleted or removed. All I can advise is to contact the user and ask to resubmit with complete info.

thanks for your help. You´re right, it´s just one submission with blank in this field. But I didn´t edit something in this form. That´s the reason, why I don´t really understand this problem. But ok, we hope this was just a single case.

Hi Elton,

just annother information. This field could not be removed or deleted at that time when the user was filling out the formular because this field with a blank has a condition. Only when the option "PAWC" is chosen the question "PAWC-Gruppe (eigene Einschätzung):" in this formular will be displayed. And this question was answered by the user. So he must have filled out the option with "PAWC".

The required fields validation looks good on your form, so it is probably that something went wrong with user's browser during submission. If you notice the problem once again, please let us know.
