Autofill not working with my jotform? Is there a way to fix this?

    Do you know what's up with autofill not working on my forms even after I've enabled it in preferences? I'm now getting this message when I select autofill?

    I would really like my clients to be able to use autofill. Thanks!

    Hi, I see the autofill is working on your form, this feature will allow you to continue where you were left off.  I just tried it and it is working.

    Please check again, and if it does not work, let us know in what browser you were using. I just tried it in Chrome, Firefox and IE.

    Hi! Thanks so much for your help.  Super appreciated! :)

    I am using Safari. And it still won't work. :(

     

    Did you fill the personal information section with AUTOfill in the other browsers? Did it fill it with your personal information? Just to be clear I can type test in all the boxes, but I want to be able to select Autofill and have it populate the fields with my personal information stored in my contact info.

     

    When I try I get this message from Safari:

     

    AutoFill was unable to complete the form. AutoFIll Completes webpage froms using info. from your Contacts card or from the web forms you completed previously. The info required by this form does not match any of the info, available in Autofill.

     

    So weird right? Is it just Safari?

    The AutoFill feature you enable on our form is so that the user can save an incomplete and then come back at later date. This is not to auto fill data from your contacts saved on your computer.

    Do confirm and elaborate further if you are trying to allow user's to save the form to complete it later on, or if you are trying to achieve something else. Thank you.

    Seemingly it's just the standard text fields that don't autofill. I've set up edit link email auto responders based on specific  conditions.

    Whenever I'm testing, I submit the form with all fields populated, then once I click the edit link email, the text fields are no longer populated.

     

    FYI to help you understand my issue better, I'm trying to create an approval form that requires approval signatures from different managers  based on project values, which are contained within the form.
