paypal form has error message when submitted

I'm still in the process of creating my form.  Before I was able to submit and be taken to a paypal page to place an order.  At that point I don't think I had set up a paypal business account yet but now that I have, I'm getting an error message from Paypal when I try to submit an order.  It says something like "the value must be greater than or equal to one..."

Could this have something to do with the fact that I removed checkboxes from the form?

    I see what you mean:

    Ideally - hiding the checkbox should not cause this - though I would encourage that you apply the following CSS rule to the checkbox  - {visibility:hidden}

Now, the cause of this issue is the fifth product - Print Wraps (Printed on photographic paper, laminated w/ mounting block)

If you remove that product - this error will cease to appear.

I tried to change a few things on a copy of your form to see what could be causing the error - but after a while, I decided to seek the counsel of our developers on the issue.

We will update you upon any progress on this thread.

    Thank you for your patience.

Thank you.  Your help is much appreciated.

What will happen if I add {visibility:hidden}?

{visibility:hidden} leaves the element on your form just not viewable. Where as the {display: none;} element completely removes the checkbox from the form. Which could potentially cause unintended behavior from the form.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

Okay, I added the visibility hidden thing.  Did I do it right?

I still get the same error message when i try to submit the order through pay pal though.  I deleted the print wraps category and addded it back again but that didn't solve the problem either.

Actually once when I tested it and I changed one of the quantities to 5, it did take me to the paypal order page correctly.  Then the next time it didn't work anymore.

I have the same form without the pay pal integration and that seems to work fine.  You hit submit and it says "thank you, your form has been received."

Could the problem have something to do with my Paypal settings?

Our colleague had submitted a ticket about this issue to our higher support. They will update this thread for the status when available.

As mentioned also, the issue seems to be caused by the item "Print Wraps".

I did further test on this, and found a fix.

You can test the cloned form here .
Test submit the form and it should properly open the Paypal payment screen.

What I did was totally removed/cleared the "Print Wraps" item in the products. Then, I added it manually back.

Make sure when adding it back, use the Custom Quantity as the very 1st option to add. Save the product first then go back again when adding other custom property to the Print Wrap item.

If you like you can also clone my test form

Just correct the sub-items prices since I had it setup differently.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

Awesome, thank you so much.  I cloned your form and made the price changes.  Submit takes you to the order on the Paypal site.  I set my Paypal account to automatically add 9% sales tax.  I'm not seeing that added when I submit a test order.  Is that something that shows up once the customer enters the payment info.

I'm sorry, should I post this in a new thread?

    Hello dcueba,

I did try to send a test submission and when redirected to PayPal checkout page, I don't see the sales tax added there. If the tax is configured properly in your PayPal account, It should add it in the PayPal "Order Summary" page.

Please ensure that you the set up taxes correctly. The following guide should help you:

If the issue persists, do get back to us by creating a new thread.

    Thank you!
