How to have fields from one form fill into another?

Asked by bluebotgraphix on April 08, 2014 at 01:10 PM

I have a set of three forms that are to be filled out in sequence. There is a questionnaire, followed by a registration form, followed up by a form of payment, followed up by a overview of entries, followed by a confirmation. What I want is for one field, a checkbox, to be checked on the registration form showing they completed the questionnaire. Then I want the register name information from the registration form to transefer over to the payment form. Then of course have all the information from the three forms to transfer over to the overview. I at this point can't find anyway to make my forms communicate with eachother. Can you help?

Let me please inform you, that we can use automatically pre-populated URL to the 2nd, 3rd, etc., form on a form Thank You Page or Thank You URL (autoredirect). To get the idea, please take a look at the following thread:

How do I prepopulate fields in one form with text input from another form?

However, it is most likely that this option will not work for PayPal standard forms, since they do not redirect users to the form Thank You pages.

Alternatively, it is possible to use a Post option and custom scripting. There is a link to related article:

    Thank you.
