    Hello,

Quick question. I"m trying to put a volunteer sign up sheet together. We have 5 volunteer positions which are needed through 3 different times of the day. We would like to have these times to have a limit for each position. For instance,

    0900-1100

    1100-1300

    1300-1500

I want to limit each time frame to 5 volunteer positions and once its filled that time frame disappear from the form and shows the remaining shifts available. Can anyone help?

    Hi,

The Submission Limit feature of the form can accomplish this.

    Refer to this guide https://www.jotform.com/help/137-How-to-Limit-Submissions-in-a-Form

The down side to this is, you cannot apply it on the same form with multiple options. Like in your form https://www.jotform.com/40933023069450 , it will not treat each "Shift Time Available" as different submissions -- the Submission Limit count ony the form submission itself.

Fore example, if you set the limit to 5 -- the form can only be submitted up to 5 times. It will trigger an unavailable message when submitted on the 6th time.

OR another option you may want to check is the Gift Registry widget http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/gift_registry

Here is a demo form http://form.jotform.me/form/40978800373460?

The downside to the widget is that the selection option is not limited to only 1. The user can select/check multiple option.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks!
