Why do graphical reports sort the X-axis?

Asked by john.roscoe on April 08, 2014 at 09:04 PM

The graphical reports always sort the X-axis values alphabetically. This does not make sense as it is more logical to display the values in the same sequence they were entered in the checklist or dropdown.

If values are dates or days then the chart becomes illogical. Here is an example where the days of the week are sorted alphabetically, and not as they were entered on the form.

Can you please remove the sort, or at least make it a selectable option.

Thank you for your input. I have escalated your input to the Dev Team so that they can review further what can be done in regards to sorting & arranging data on the Graphical Report. Unfortuntately I'm unable to provide an ETA on when they will respond to such feature request. Nor can I promise the change will be made. Nevertheless, I do believe your input should be evaluated by the Dev Team. Once there is an update from their end. They will let us know through this thread. Thank you

    Hi John,

I am currently working on fixing this. x-axis labels for radio and check box questions will now display on the charts in the same order as they as on your forms.
