How can I format decimal places?

Asked by dudiack on April 09, 2014 at 10:16 AM

How can I add a decimal place? And can I make it so that numbers are imputed from left to right so that the last 2 numbers are on the right side of decimal place automatically. FOr example if you only type a "1" it looks like this .01 if you type 12 it looks like .12 if you type 123 it looks like 1.23 etc. Thanks.

    format decimal thanks 123 and

    Hi,

I checked your form https://www.jotform.com/40955304274959 but it seems like you have used the e-mail field from Quick tools as the "Payment Amount" field. Since it was originally an e-mail type of field, it has different property than the regular textbox

I suggest you replaced it with a Textbox(from Form Tools) so that you can apply proper validation and input masking also.

Please refer to the images below for more details.

    please replaced this with

You can check the input mask property of the Textbox field to match your requirement.

Here is also my test form http://form.jotform.me/form/40984100235447? where I tested it.

Please inform us if this solution cannot work for what you require.

    Thanks.
