When I try to add the take photo widget to my forms it doesnt open up the wizard and instead just has a grey box that says"allow to use your camera using button above"

One possible reason for this is when the widget script is being bloocked by the browser's pop-up blocker.

Usually on the first time the widget is used on the form, it will request permission to allow the script to run. (a pop-up prompt).
If this was permanently blocked on the i1st time, it will make subsequent pop-up to stop working.

Please check the pop-blocker if it is just blocking the widget.

Inform us of the result when you can.
