One form - constantly being updated

    Hi,

I have a need to create a form with a matrix of 50 rows and 10 columns.

We are using this to keep track of a project's progress.

I wanted to avoid multiple submissions that would skew the excel report with multiple rows for the same form. in the report, I just want that one row to be updated when a form is edited and resubmitted.

A number of people in different offices will be access this form to EDIT, using the editlink once we create and make a first submission.

We will email them the EDIT link.

When they open the form to edit it, they will go to the rows for their site and complete the matrix for their locations only.

Here is an example (In reality the matrix would be more rows and columns)

PO# Loc # QTY of EQA QTY of EQB QTY of EQC EQD Rec Date EQD Install Date

    22433 2001 67 129 34 3/25/14

    22433 2005 87 56 12

    22756 3007 16 34 128 4/10/14

They might touch this form to edit it ten times.

How can I avoid having to manually delete submissions or edit a spreadsheet so all i have is the latest submission for that form and the most up to date spreadsheet?

    Thanks

    Doug

    Hi Doug,

If you update a submission, the database and the spreadsheet would also store the new updated submission. We've updated the Google Spreadsheet Integration to work this way so if you're using the old integration, I would advise to re-do it so to include this new update.

    Thanks
