When I receive an email, why can I not reply to it?

Asked by oliviabell on July 28, 2011 at 06:38 AM

    Dear Sirs,

I am using your JotForm system to receive emails via my website.

However, when I receive an email, I hit "reply" but the field 'to' does not have the correct email in place. If  I were to send the email, you would receive it instead of my website visitor.

    How do I change this?

Just to clarify, I want to receive my emails in my Mail application on my Mac. I want to hit "reply" and automatically have the senders email in the 'to' field, and not "JotForm".

    Thank you.

    Hi Olivia,

To set this up you will need to change the Sender E-mail field in your notification.

Open your form in the form builder.

Click the Setup and Embed tab, then click the Email Alerts button.

Select your notification.  it will open up in the email editor.

Click the Reply-To and Recipient setting button.

Change the sender email to whichever field you are using to collect the email address (ie a field in your form).
