    Issue with 2-column form validation

Asked by John on July 28, 2011 at 12:31 PM

When I make a 2-column form, the form validation feature pushes the next input box either down or to the side when a field is missed. How do I fix this or is there anything I can do the lock the input boxes in place?

The link below has the form, although I took the validation off.

    Thank you.

    Hi John,

Thanks for bringing this up. A workaround that I can think of right now is to disable the Required setting and use a Show/Hide Condition instead. In this method, the form's Submit button is initially hidden from view. The Condition should be configured in such a way that all fields should be answered or not empty in order for the Submit button to appear.

Please advise if this workaround will work for you or not so that we can further assist you.

    Thank you for using JotForm!
