Is there a way to set deadline dates further down on a form based on a date entered into a form?

We are creating a submission form for people to complete when they want to hold an event. The form is very long and has many parts and is not designed to be filled out in one sitting. Based on the information they submit in the first part of the form (event location, event date, etc.), we want to set deadlines for them to complete other parts of the form. Basically, if your event is 12/31/11, then later in the form, either in a header or other part of the form layout, but not necessarily in input values, it should calculate a due date for, say, uploading a signed contract, which could be 7 days before the day of the event (12/24/11, in my example). Right now we have the deadlines listed as "This is due 7 days before event" or "This is due 30 days before event" but we would like that to read dynamically, so as not to rely on them to do the math. "This is due on December 24".

If you need more information, pleaes let me know.
