We are receiving Dupliacte Emails caused by Duplicate Submissions submitted at different time

    I have been receiving duplicate confirmation emails of customers submitting their forms. Sometimes the duplicate comes in several hours later all the way to the next day after the original submission. Can you please provide information on how to fix this issue? Thank you.

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused. I can confirm that there were duplicate submissions on your form. I believe we had applied a fix to this problem before but there are still occasional occurrences on duplicates probably because of some browser versions where it keeps the forms thank you page and post the previous submissions automatically without asking for user confirmation whenever the thank you page is reloaded.

    For now, we can only recommend these 2 options that would help prevent duplicates.

    1. You can add a captcha field to your form, so when the thank you page reloads, it shows a captcha before it resubmits the form.



    2. Use an external thank you URL instead of the default thank you page so the browser keeps the external thank you page instead of the form's default thank you page. This should prevent duplicates. Guide: How to Redirect to a Page After Form Submission

    I have also escalated this issue to our backend team for further investigation. Once we get an update, we'll inform you here.

    We have made related changes to prevent duplicate submissions. This will solve the recurring confirmation emails problem.
