Tables view: How to sort items in filter dropdown menu to make it easy to find an item?

The current design follows the order of items defined in your dropdown menu.

But I can escalate this as a new feature request for our backend team to consider.

I cannot guarantee they will go ahead with the development.

Well, I hope they will consider it, because it makes the product sort of silly. Imagine a user having to delete everything they have just because something new comes along an reentering it in alphabetical order.

Perhaps they can real quick ad a search feature like in some of the other drop down menus? That would make it better.

I am also quite interested in having the files sort in basic alphabetical order. that makes so much sense to me.

Yes, the feature request has been forwarded already by my colleague to our developers for further review and consideration. Included in the report is the option to sort the items alphabetically. Again, as he has mentioned, we cannot guarantee that this will be implemented nor can we give an ETA but we'll be sure to notify you here if we receive any updates from them.
