Prepopulating Fields using JotForm WordPress Plugin

I need to embed a form created on JotForm into a page on a WordPress website. I plan to use the JotForm WordPress plugin to embed the form on the page using the shortcode that the plugin registers.

I need to prepopulate a field on the form. I know that it is possible to do using URL parameters [https://www.jotform.com/help/71-prepopulating-fields-to-your-jotform-via-url-parameters/].

    1) Can this be done using the shortcode that the JotForm plugin registers? If yes, is there an article in your knowledge base explaining how to do so?

    2) Can a <select> field be prepopulated with a set number of values (i.e. <options>) and can one of the options be pre-selected?

    Thank you.

Unfortunately, prepopulating via WordPress plugin is not possible. You could try using the Iframe Embed method, or the Iframe code, so you could add the parameters in the URL:

Regarding the Dropdown field, the options can only be added manually in its settings. This field allows you to define a preselected option:
