    Hi,

When responders select more than one answer (via checkboxes) the csv/excel uploads all answers into 1 cell. Is it possible to separate them? On the jotform dashboard, the multiple answers are in separate colours - so there must be a way to differentiate?

    Thanks

    Thank you for reaching support,

Can you please share a screenshot of the fields you are referring to as well as the output?

    Here is how: https://www.jotform.com/help/438-how-to-post-screenshots-to-our-support-forum/.

Please note that inputs are placed under the fields they're associated with.

    Awaiting your response.

    Best.

Here's an example of the fields in jotform:

Here's what the excel looks like:

Notice how the answers in jotform are separated by different colours, yet in the excel output they are bunched in the same cell. Having them output into different cells would be a lot better for analyzing responses.

    Thanks

Unfortunately, no, it is not possible to display the checkbox options in a separate column of the exported Excel file.

Since you are downloading the submissions in Excel file, I would suggest you to use Excel features to split the data of checkbox field in a separate column. You may like to take a look at the following guide should help you:   https://www.extendoffice.com/documents/excel/1786-excel-split-text-by-space.html

    Hope this helps.
