Allow users to edit records on the Jotform Tables

    Hi there,

I'd like to give my users the facility of looking at their table records but I don't want them to edit cells within the table. I'd much rather they complete any editing through the form where all of the controls exist. I know they can select the edit function as shown in the screenshot below but how do I stop them from editing in the table cells?

    Many thanks in advance

I'll be glad to check if there is an option available that would help you meet your requirements. I'll get back to you on this ticket with my findings as soon as possible.

Apologies for any delays. The Jotform Tables are inaccessible to your form respondents, however, if you are looking to make the Jotform Tables accessible to your colleagues (users), you can use the Share Table feature of the Jotform Tables.

    How-to-share-your-jotform-tables-and-collaborate/

Your colleagues will have to sign up for or log in to a Jotform account to view the Jotform Tables you have shared with them. Based on what access you will give them, they will be able to edit the submissions on your form and I'm afraid that there is no option that would restrict them to edit the data when they (double) click the table cells.

If you would only like them to have the ability to edit your form via the edit submission link, perhaps you can create a report that generates an edit link to each submission and share the report with them.

The Grid Listing Report and the HTML Table Listing Report have the option to include edit URLs to each submission.

Feel free to let us know if you need any further assistance.
