Can I link a Form field (it's a dropdown) to pull choices from another Table?

    • I have a table called "List of Products".
    • I have a Customer Info Form where I'll fill out when I get a new customer.

Is it possible to set my Customer Info Form, to have a field called "which product" (a dropdown), and instead of manually typing out the list of products in the Dropdown Properties - Is there a way to directly pull from my "List of Products" table?

Because obviously my "List of Products" will be linked to a few more other tables and keeps changing as well - I don't want to have to come inside "Dropdown properties" to make changes every single time...

    Thanks a lot!

    Chloe

Hello Chloe - Thanks for reaching out.

I'm afraid having another table as a dynamic Data Source of a Dropdown isn't possible at the moment.

If you want, we can forward the idea to our developers as a Feature Request. Could you confirm if the table you want use as Data Source is created in Jotform or a 3rd party table like Google Sheets?

    Hi Sonnyfer,

Both tables are within Jotform now. If this is not possible yet, it's okay. I just want to know.

Of course, it will be very powerful I guess if this is possible. ;-)

    Best,

    Chloe
