Hi.
I need to get data from a cookie and insert it into a hidden form field, how to do it?
My site is WordPress and the form needs to be embedded.

Hi, thank you for contacting support.
I'm afraid that it is not possible to add a cookie to a field.
The closest option we have is to create a prepopulated URL with UTM fields that you have on the form.

Please check and let us know if you have further questions.
Thank you.

andre_andre390Replied on January 7, 2022 at 8:33 AMThis option is no good, because I need to manually enter the data in the
URL.
Is there no plugin or alternative?
because without it we will unfortunately have to cancel our paid account
with you, because we are not being able to get the origins of our leads

Hi there,
Happy to help!
Would something like Jotform Analytics work for you instead? With our Analytics tool, you can analyze data, including tracking the Referral URLs of where your form respondents are coming from.
In addition, we could also open a feature request with our development team in regards to your question: we could not guarantee that it would be implemented; however, we would update you via this thread if/when we get a response from our team. Would you like us to open a feature ticket request on your behalf?
We look forward to your response.

andre_andre390Replied on January 7, 2022 at 9:55 AMHi.
Jotform Analytics is no good, because all our leads are centralized in our
CRM.
It is essential that the leads arrive with their origin information which
is inserted in the cookie.
Without this we cannot map the origins of each lead, and Jotform Analytics
is just a copy of GA and does not meet our needs.
As for the resource, what is the cost to develop?

Hi,
If your goal is to get the origin of the filled-out form, you can add the Get Form Page URL widget to your form. It will put the Referrer URL of the form.
More information here:

Please let us know if this works for you.
Thanks,
Rose

andre_andre390Replied on January 7, 2022 at 11:11 AMNo, it doesn't.
I need to know if the lead came from CPC, social media, direct traffic,
organic traffic, and so on.
That is if the lead came to my site through CPC and then converted on some
form I can't get the origin.
So I need to be able to at least send via hidden field the cookie data.
Best,

Hi,
Unfortunately, there's no way to add cookies to the form fields.
I recommend you to use our Google analytics widget. This will help you monitor your user activity on the form.
You can use this widget to:
Track form user activity and the duration of their visit
See how long it takes customers to complete a sale on your order form
Monitor how your contact form attracts visitors
View the demographics and locations of people who fill out your surveys
Let us know If it works for you.
Thank you.
