Do my form respondents need to sign in to Jotform to fill out my form on the Jotform app?

When I send a link to someone to use the 'app'

it tells the new person to 'sign up' or 'log in' - is this to jotform? do they need to be a jotform customer? can they not use the app without a jotform account?

    thanks

    Hi there,

    Happy to help!

To confirm: you're wanting people to fill out your forms using the app or be able to log in to collaborate on the form itself?

You can have respondents fill out your forms using kiosk mode if you need to have the forms filled out in person: how-to-quickly-view-and-share-forms-with-other-people-using-the-jotform-mobile-app as this is primarily how the app is used.

Or, since your Jotform is set to Public in your form sharing settings:

You can share your form URL and your respondents can fill this out via their mobile browsers remotely.

Now, if you're inviting people to the app to collaborate on building the form then they will need a Jotform account to collaborate. Here's our guide on understanding-form-collaboration

Is this what you were referring to?

Thanks for this. Essentially I am looking to be able to share the 'app' with a QR code, for people to be able to fill out a form and also see the results 'cards' - almost like a resource file for information, rather than as an app to complete a form... does this make sense?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your information.

You should be able to share the APP that you built using the Jotform APP builder that has your forms for them to access the information using a QR code by going to the Publish Tab and clicking on the 'Download QR Code' option.

hi, thanks, yes I get this far... but then the people filling out the form or seeing the results of the forms... i.e. cards created from tables... need to sign in... but they are not members of jotform?! so how do they do it?

also, can the results of the form be 'read only' i.e. the table or 'card' result of the form...

hi, i checked these settings and they are all 'unchecked' - so i assume people should not need to sign in...?

it still shows that you need to sign in to complete a form? and to view the results of the form?

    Hello Hall_Matthew_matt,

hi, i checked these settings and they are all 'unchecked' - so i assume people should not need to sign in...?

Yes, you are correct. No need to sign in as long as your app is set to public.

I am being asked to sign in when the app shows the tables for the form. The app is accessable without login but when the tables are displayed the app asks the user to sign in to view. Check out this quick and easy page on how to share your Jotform tables.

Also, the link doesn't work between a button and a form link....

After checking the table Share settings try the button/link again.
