Some of the Unique Names for fields get changed when the form is edited.

Is there a best practice for editing fields so that the Unique Name doesn't change on any of the fields. We created an import from the API for an application form. We have had a few of the fields not import because their unique name changed.

As an example, this field in the screenshot had it's name changed to input247 and I had to change it back to insurancechooseAll.

Thank you for any help you can provide!

    Thank you for reaching support,

We recommend these practices, one, is to keep in mind the Login session which expires after 2 hours, once it ends, any changes made to have are not saved.

Two, is to avoid using two tabs of the same Form builder view, as you might edit one form, save it, then move back to another form and revert to the previous setting.

Three, is naming multiple fields with the same Unique name, the system autogenerates those to avoid duplication but we understand that users might have a specific use case for it.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best.
