Short Text fields?

Can you please tell me what the maximum number of characters is for a Short Text field?

The maximum value size is the same for the Short Text Entry and Long Text Entry in our form builder. It is 65,535 bytes (up to ~65,535 characters). Over the limit characters will not be saved by the server.
