Include Birthday Picker field output format of mm/dd/yyyyAsked by amhomelife on April 25, 2014 at 07:11 PM
After selecting the Birthdate Picker field in the quick tools, the date format should be mmddyyyy, but when the user enters their information it appears as Month, day, year (this is excellent and i like the calendar option) but, when importing this field (integrated into Salesforce) for this specific form, i need the format to be mm/dd/yyyy, is there a way to modify the properties so I can import this into the correct format using the slashes between the mm dd yyyy?
Thanks so much.
Unfortunately, the Birthday Picker field currently do not have a format of mm/dd/yyyy or simply with slash separator included.
But what I suggest you can try using is the Date Picker widget http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/date_picker
I tested the output of the Date Picker widget using this test form http://form.jotform.me/form/41150553536449?
The output is like this
Please try using the Date picker widget so that you can use the output to map in your Salesforce integration.
Inform us if you encounter any setback on this.
I will also use this thread to submit a feature request to our higher team support include mm/dd/yyy format available in the Birthday Picker field.
We will notify you when status update is available.
I recommend to use the DateTime form element. With this, you may now select an option which type of separator you can use.
This is the sample output when using each:
