I'm trying to create a field where I ask a question with several options and they choose an option and explain what it is.

What will you be vending/displaying this day?

    (Select what applies to you)

    Hi BiscuitFoundation,

    Thank you for using JotForm.

You can accomplish this task with Checkboxes, Textarea, and JotForm's Conditional Logic. To further explain this, I've attached some illustrations below and hope this helps.

First, navigate to your form. Create checkboxes for your options with a corresponding textarea for the specifications.

Select "Show/Hide a form field" from "Conditions" under the "Setup & Embed" tab.

And now, create your conditions. If the user chooses Arts, the textarea for arts will show, and so on.
