I notice that when I cloned a form and then started removing some fields and adding others that the CSS I already had for field positioning still remains when I remove a field. Is it possible to clean up any css that involves that ID# perhaps ask if we want it done first?

    Thanks

    Hi cozyhorse,

We appreciate your feedback towards JotForm. If I understand it correctly, what you're trying to say is to prompt the user if previous CSS settings would be allowed after cloning. We'll add this to our feature request list and hopefully, our developers can integrate this in the near future. Unfortunately, we cannot provide specific timeframe on when will this be available. However, you'll be informed via JotForm's forum as soon as updates are available.

The best thing I would suggest is for you to manually delete the unwanted CSS codes after cloning. Navigate to your form, under "Setup & Embed" tab, click "Preferences", under "Form styles" select "Inject Custom CSS" and alter the code as you see fit.

If you do need further assistance, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for your patience.

    Hi there,

I've seen that a while ago and have it corrected either. It might be my spellchecker. Anyway, thanks. Have a nice JotForm experience! :-)

That's one way to address it partially. I only noticed it while cloning. In reality it is an issue always. When I delete a field from a form then if there is any associated CSS, that would be the time to ask the user if they want it deleted too. I suppose this would also apply to any conditions that hide/show the field being deleted too.

    Thanks

    Hi,

We appreicate our users' inputs, and yours is no exception. We will have this added to our requests list although we cannot make any guarantee or promise that this will be implemented, let alone approved. Rest assured though, our developers will be notified of such a request.

Thank you for using Jotform and have a great day!
