"Other" field - can the value be submitted with a prefix/postfix?

Asked by emilevdende on May 05, 2014 at 04:36 AM
Hi,Looking at the radio button and checkbox question types, both these have the ability to allow "other" as an answer. For analytical purposes, I need to be able to recognize this value (which is typed in the "other" field) out of all other answers. However, since there is no pre-set value (i.e. anyone can type in what they want), there is no fixed text to run my analysis on.Is it possible to input a prefix/postfix in this field? Custom HTML/JS is not a problem. It would even be the best if this prefix cannot be seen in the front-end, then the end-user is not able to delete this prefix. Thanks in advance! KR, Emile

    Try this:

    1. Get your form's source code

    2. Paste the codes in this link to your form's html codes, right before the closing </body> tag

    3. Replace "prefix: " with your preferred prefix (Do not remove the quotes)

    3. Host the codes in a page on your own server

If all goes well, here's how the form should work:
