    Can't clone a form

Asked by August Hogan  on May 05, 2014 at 06:23 PM

I have read the forum contents on the general issue but can't find a solution.  I have multiple Jotform accounts and am trying to copy a form from one account to another. I try to clone the form on http://www.naacp-losangeles.org/Membership%20Application%20Form.html and I get this error: No form found on the page. Please check the source code you provided.  The page consiste of a membership foprm that I created some time ago and, as you can see, it needs somw work.

RThe main problem is that I don't have access to the account that I used to create the form.  My web page source code says the form number is 13463619391.

    Thank you.

    Hello buddyhogan,

You are trying to clone a form from external URL. Please be noted that you can only import HTML forms. The form fields should be within the <form> tags.

The direct URL of the form which you are trying to clone is this:  http://www.jotform.com/form/13463619391 Please use this URL and you should be able to  clone this form in your account.

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

    Hello buddyhogan,

I am not sure why you are getting this error. I did check the form owner's account and found that the form cloning is not disabled.

Anyway, you do not have to build the form from scratch. I have cloned this form in your account with name as "Clone of Los Angeles NAACP Membership Application" : http://www.jotform.us/form/41259063086152

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
