Allow users to upload more than 1GB per submission

    Hello,

I have set the file limit and extensions to be broadly inclusive, so I am not sure why I cannot upload this file. It is a .mov file and it is about 2 GB, a little smaller.

It will spend an hour LOOKING like it is working, then it will tell me it has failed. I have tried from different computers, webbrowsers, etc.

    Please help.

You can split the file as jotform support maximum 1GB for each upload session.

Otherwise, you may try box.com or google drive.

The following guideline should help you.

How do I split files? do you have any guidance for that? I'm not thrilled with that as a solution, but I'd still like to make this work for us. I'm interested in what you said about box.com, but I just want to check whether box.com would actually allow me to do larger file uploads? If it doesn't, then that does NOT solve my problem.

also, you have writtena all over your forum that google drive doesn't support large file uploads either, so how is that a solution?

    Sorry about the answers above.

There is no way to split a video file, unless you or your users use a sort of software to split it , or change the output format to make it to be less than 1GB, before uploading it. So, that would be too much hassle for you or your users.

Please note that the maximum amount to be uploaded per submissions (either 1 or more files) is 1GB, in light of this, you must set a Max limit of 1024000

So no matter which integration you choose, Jotform will not upload more than 1GB for the moment.

If the size is increased in the future, I am also not sure that integrating with box.com, the service will allow you to upload up to 1 GB per session or more. Please refer to the guide above to see how much per submission you can upload according to the 3rd party upload service you are using

Anyhow, I've opened a ticket with this feature request, hopefully in the near future, we will allow more than 1GB per session.
