It seams to be taking a lot of time to get the e-mail notifications.
We are testing and ready to purchase a plan and move our form into production, but this concerns us.

Form Notification Email should be instant. But there are times that the email notification will be taking delays because some email providers doesn't accept the form email, mostly, the content is detected as spam, although it's not. Our servers will try to send the form email for multiple times, but if the delivery fails, there's a chance that your email address will be listed into our bounce list.
So, in order to prevent the issue and make sure that mail delivery works well, we advise to whitelist our IP Addresses and Domains. Check this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/145-Whitelisting-JotMails-IP-Addresses
