Can you please tell me what the difference is between 100 monthly submissions and 10 ssl? I thought I had 100 free forms that could be sent to me

Hi I am a technophobe and was amazed I could even set up a jotform for our Facebook page ( we area an animal rescue). However you've emailed to say I've reached 10 ssl (? i don't even know what ssl is) but I thought I could have 100 forms sent to me? We are an animal rescue charity and I used the form for an Adoption Questionnaire for potential adopters.

Please can you tell me how many people can submit a form please?

Also the form does not work on mobile devices through the Facebook app, or on Apple software, how do I remedy this?

    Thank you

    Hello Kathy,

SSL submissions used to secure the data transfer between the client and servers. The web site URL is changed and starts with https: for secure URL. The data transferred over SSL is actually encrypted while getting transferred to the server.

Free account can receive up to 100 non secure, 10 secure / SSL and 10 payment submissions. Please be noted that if any of the limit is reached, all your forms will be disabled.

Facebook actually uses SSL (you can see the facebook URL starts with https://) and any secure / ssl website can only display secured content. That means you can only embed your form in Facebbok using its secure embed code.

If you embed your form with its secure embed code, that will result in receiving secure submission and in free account you can receive only 10 SSL submissions.

I have reset your submission limit to zero but please be noted that we can only do this once per account. Your account is now active.

    Thank you!

Ok, thanks for that, I kind of get what you mean! Thanks for resetting. How about my other question about it not working for Apple or mobile devices?

It seems that the Facebook does not show tabs on mobile devices. In this case, it is possible to use a 'Shareable URL' of your Static HTML App. It should work on mobile devices too.
