Required fields and captcha not working

Asked by DomesticAgenciesLosAngeles on August 07, 2011 at 11:41 AM

    Neil

We tried the iframe code but the form did not show up, our site will not accept it I guess, we used the other embed code we were using before and it seems to be working now, so we will have to see. We added (all fields required) just so people will not try to skip the required fields. We had some entries that did not complete the form and submitted it and it allowed it, I then tried submitting the form without filling in any field and it went through last night. It seems that its working now though as it did when I first created the form, it was an intermittent problem I guess.

    Hi there,

To answer on behalf of Neil, kindly observe if there is something in common between the users experiencing this issue, such as browser or OS version(s). We'll try to isolate the cause of the problem based on  your feedback. Our apologies for the trouble this has caused.

    Hi,

Actually, I wasn't able to replicate the problem you described in the first thread you opened. I also think it is an intermittent problem, but the real reason is the script clash that happens in your page. I am just unsure why it is not happening all the time.

I suggested that you use iframe since it is 'JavaScript-safe', meaning, script clashes are very unlikely to occur. What I don't understand is how and why it would not work for your page. Can you try embedding your form in a test page on your site and see if it's still the same? Give us the URL of that test page as well so we can inspect it ourselves and find out what's causing the disappearance.

    Thanks!

    Neil
