    Submission Counter (Submission Limiter)

Asked by Thomas on August 08, 2011 at 06:17 AM

    Hallo JotForm Team,

I was desperately searching for an easy to use and fully automated Formbuilder, and found JotForm. The only feature i am missing is a submission limiter. I need a fully automated form wich allows me to limit the amount of submissions for certain Courses. I give about 6 Courses a month and cannot be bothered by checking every second day manually if the maximum Submissions for one of my courses are reached.

I really like your product very much, but without such a feature it is more or less worthless for me. It has to be fully automated.

Can you tell me, if such a feature is planned in the near future?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for taking interest in our product. As for your question regarding the option to limit submissions in a form, I believe it was already added to our development team's todo list, since it gets asked pretty often.

We are not sure though if it is being worked on right now or not. Thus, we cannot give an exact time for completion, especially now that our developers are very much busy fixing bugs and adding new features.

I wish we can give you more information about the status of this request but unfortunately, as members of the support team, we are not privy to what's going on in our developer's 'laboratory', so to speak.

I advise you to stand by and wait for announcement from our devs regarding this feature request. In the meantime, manual checking and disabling of the form is the only way to go.
