close button and color scheme in textarea fullscreen mode are not visible in mobile devicesAsked by svenne on May 19, 2014 at 04:20 AM
When I am testing my form on an smartphone and using fullscreen mode in the text boxes, there is some issues.
I am testing with a Samsung Galaxy Express 1.
Hwen I click on the fullscreen symbol in the text box, I am ending up somewhere in the middle of the text box. I can't see the X or 0 symbol in the right corner if I don't scroll up. When I do, I inly see half of them and they don't respond when I am try o touch them.
The fullscreen mode works well on the computer, but not so well on the smartphone.
I am not going to use the fullscreen mode in my form, it's the simple solution. I hope to be able to use that function next year instead.
There is also an issue when I titlt the screen, the form dosen't adjust to the screen format. Some text is outside the screen. I guess that is becouse you have been testing jotform on i-things and not som many other plattforms.
I am able to replicate the issue so let me forward this thread to our developers so they can further check this. For now, please use the standard plain textarea while we are waiting for resolution.
With regards to when tilting the screen, is that on the full screen mode or in the plain text mode? Also, are you testing the form using the direct URL or while it is embedded to a page? If it's embedded, please let us know the webpage URL so we can further check.
I found the source of the tilt and text problem. The texts in the pure
text fields was not showing in my embedded form in a wordpress site, but
the problem was the phone its self. It cashed the page and when tilted I
needed to refresh the page. And same when titlted back again.
But here is another thing I finding odd.

My colleague had already submitted a ticket to our higher team support regarding the original reported issue about the textarea field full screen mode glitch when using mobile device.
I apologize, but on your latest reply, I was not able to fully understand what was the message was about. Can you please elaborate?
Are you still having this problem? I tried to recreate this on my end, but with no luck.
May I ask which browser you are using on your mobile device?
