    Hi Support,

I'm currently in the process of desiging my first form - it appears, that Form Tabs (widget) do not seem to recognise "require a form field rule" - whereas the Next buttons do?

    Kind Regards

    Hi Jamie,

If you meant that, you can navigate between the pages/tabs in the form using theTab widget without answering a required field form previous page/tab -- then, that is correct. It seems this is the design behaviour of the Form Tab widget.

It is not like the page break field, wherein you cannot navigate to the next page if there is an unanswered required field on the current page/tab.

BUT please take note also, that you still cannot submit the form if there is an unanswered mandatory field even if you were able to skip them using the Form Tabs widget.

May I inquire if your form requirement needs the Form Tab widgets to be able to recognize required fields and will not navigate from 1st Tab if there is an empty mandatory field?

To my understanding, it was design like that because if you make it recognize "required field", you will not be able to hop between sections/pages on the form. If its required, it will just behave just like the page break -- the navigation will become sequential. So instead of click NEXT button -- you will be just clicking Tabs in sequential way.

Please inform us if you have further question on this.

    Thanks!
