I'm told I have 8/10 secure ssl submissions used up. What does this mean, and how can I increase my limits?

    Hi,

Secure or SSL Forms are for secure communications between the client (i.e the end user of your form) & Jotforms servers. These communications are encrypted to prevent snooping by a 3rd party, and are useful if any of your forms contain sensitive information.

You can increase your SSL Limit only by upgrading your account to our Paid Plans. For our pricing and limit information, please check our Pricing Page: http://www.jotform.com/pricing

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thanks

    Thanks for that.
But neither of my forms were set up using SSL, and I don't need it for the info I'm collecting. So how come I'm suddenly getting forms coming in as SSL?
I'm sure at some point I'll upgrade, but I don't want to do it if it's not needed just yet.
    Thanks.

    Hi Geoff,

When you're in your form builder, does the browser's address bar have a secure URL (beginning with https) or just a regular (http) one? In other words, are you signed in to the form builder in secure mode or regular mode?

    Hi,

The address bar just says www. there's http or https. I obviously don't want to lose any new form submissions, but I'm not sure how to check whether the forms that one there are ssl or not - as they don't need to be! Would it be worth just getting the code again but ensuring the ssl box isn't ticked?

    Hello ashtutors,

Please share your web page URL where you have embedded your from and we will take a look on why you are receiving SSL submissions.

For now I have reset your SSL submission counter to zero. Please be noted that we can do this only once per account. You need to ensure that you are not using your form's secure URL and the secure form embed code needs to be replaced with non secure code.

We will wait for your web page URL.

    Thank you!
