    Hi,

Please review also our user guide on SSL as it has more details about encryption also

    Guide: -How-can-I-receive-SSL-Submissions

To clarify, the encryption part only covers the communication or transport between the client(end-users) and JotForm servers. But the data when you have them on your end, they are NOT encrypted. As you can see the e-mail result and the form content are not encrypted as you can read them like a plain text.

If someone steal the email or the submission data, it can be open and read like a regular email or data. BUT stealing the email or data will not be easy because of encryption before you can access the form data or the email.

Inform us if you have further question.

    Thanks!
