When a checkbox option is exhausted (variable submission limit for matrix table row)

    Hi there,

I've created a form that includes a matrix table of training workshops and a corresponding checkbox column. Users can use the checkboxes to select which training workshops they would like to register for. Each workshop has a maximum number of participants.

How can I set up the form so when a workshop is fully booked out (a set amount of users have selected this workshop) it is not able to be selected from the list?
OR displays a warning when selected (for example - "Sorry but this course is fully booked - if you proceed with your registration you will be added to the waiting list instead")

The allowed number of participants at each individual workshop may vary.

    Please help! Thanks

    Hello flinders,

Unfortunately, we do not have such features.

There is an alternative way to inform your user. You can take advantage of our "Submissions Counter" widget. This will display your user the count of submissions you have received. You can also set your own message. Please check the screenshot below:

Will that be an acceptable solution for you? Please take a look at the following demo form where I have added this widget:  http://form.jotformpro.com/form/41461582123953? Feel free to clone this form for a closer look on the conditions. The following guide should help you in form cloning:  https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
