The data I receive into the email notification of my forms is messed upAsked by DaveBan on May 28, 2014 at 10:45 AM
Hi, i have created 2 different forms for the website. each with difference questions and options. when they are submitted the email response seems to be merging the 2 forms into a response for one of them.
email different and
You mentioned you have 2 forms on your website, but so far I am only able to find 1 form here http://www.bickerstock.org/Bickerstock/Bands.html. If you have a second form can you please provide us with a link to where your second form is at? I could not find it.
The only thing I did find so far inspecting the page source is what appears to be two instances of the same form. You have a script and an iFrame together and I think this is probably what is creating your form conflict leading to the merged email notifications. You only need to use one. An iFrame is only usually recommended where a script will normally not work as it helps to avoid conflicts with your form and your website code. You can also refer to this guide for further embedding information.
that is the link to the second form. I will have a look at the iframe as well. Thanks
Thanks for providing the URL of the second form.
Upon checking your email notifiers of your forms I found that they are outdated. For example in this form: http://form.jotformeu.com/form/41472887428365 the content of the notifier does not match with the fields of your form:
So, as you can see in the image the content of the notifier does not match with actual form fields. To resolve this issue what you need to do is to delete the current notifiers of both forms and then create new ones.
Here is the guide know how to Delete Notifiers: How to delete notifiers/autoresponders
And here is the guide to know how to create new notifiers: Setting up email notifications
Once you create the new Notifiers you will no longer receive the information in the email in a messed way.
