    HI Guys,

I want to be able to take a field line and have a few items in it such as qty, length in ft and another field in inches. I really dont want to have several lines for each item, but rather one line item with those properties and then something similar to InfoPath where you can click a button to add another item just like the one above it.

    What Id like to have:

    Item:  INPUT FIELD 1  | INPUT FIELD 2 | INPUT FIELD 3

    Item2: INPUT FIELD 1  | INPUT FIELD 2 | INPUT FIELD 3

    etc.

    What I don't want:

    Item: INPUT FIELD 1

    Item QTY: INPUT FIELD 2

    Item Length: INPUT FIELD 3

    Item2: INPUT FIELD 1

    Item2 QTY: INPUT FIELD 2

    Item2 Length: INPUT FIELD 3

    etc.

If you could give me some insight I would be grateful here.

    Many Thanks.

    Hello gabrielva,

If I understand your requirement correctly, you want to place your form fields next to each other. Is that correct?

You can take advantage of our "Shrink" feature to position your fields. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/90-Form-Field-Positioning

Please take a look at the following demo form and see if you want to achieve something similar:  http://form.jotformpro.com/form/41484711888970? Feel free to clone this form for a closer look. The following guide should help you in form cloning:  http://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

You can further customize your form by injecting custom css code in your form.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you!
