    4) Finally the discount area.

       a) All items are listed as you see and we can select "All" or individual to apply the coupon to.

       b) The Items are "autopopulated" from the payment form

       c) We select for EACH ITEM if the discount applied will be in the form of a [%] or [$] and then type the amount

       d) The form then auotpopulates the end price for us, to confirm our entry - I hate when I do things wrong, good back up.

In regards to your third counterpart here for your suggestions and requests this part I would like to request more clarity about this since it is all a bit hazy. Also, some of this is already a possibility but I think you have further thoughts about it probably...

for the mentioned Discount Area I think that a) All items are listed as you see and we can select "All" or individual to apply the coupon to. " is already possible. You can choose this and how to assign it whether it be ALL or just ONE product to apply the coupons. So I'm not quite sure what you mean by this? Can you please clarify it more if I've misunderstood you?

I see no need for " B)... " since the data is already handled accordingly between the payment gateway and your form when using the payment integration and a coupon. But if you meant something else then please clarify this more as well.

Your " C)... " subject is also possible via the coupons by setting it as fixed or percentage. It sounds as if you wish to reverse this though so that you can handle it directly from the coupon without going in and out of each coupon to double check? Is that correct?

Lastly, " D)... " Did you mean like a confirmation to accept coupons and then return to them? Or?

As soon as more clarity is given to understand this third counterpart we will gladly pass it along to our developers as well. I just want to be sure I am understanding you correctly where necessary to avoid further confusion if any in case it is something we might already be able to accommodate.

    KadeJM,

First I want to thank you for your thoughtful questions and attention to this.

In the spreadsheet screenshot that I attached you can see all input options at one time.

I could better show the input areas by coloring them if you like.

    So

    A) For each item, you can apply either a % discount or a $ discount. So if I wanted to run a simultaneous special for July 1-July 31, I wouldn't have to set up various coupons, unless I didn't want them to "overlap" So, most people who are booking a week rental, won't be also book a monthly rental. But if I wanted to offer $10 off daily, 20% off the weekly and 10% off the monthly rates, I could do that with out having to set up multiple coupons for that same time period.

*** Althought, it would be good to have a box that says, only allow X number of coupons to be used (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc) if there were to be overlaps.

    B) As in your coupons now, you do fill in the prices for us, it would not change with my suggestion except that you would then see the discounted amount to confirm you wanted that price in the end.

    C) This is answered in A above.

    D) No, right on COUPON entry form (your form not the end form) we can see what our end price will be before we hit accept to approve the coupon.

You are quite welcome and I do appreciate your effort in correcting and explaining parts that I may have misunderstood. So I return the thanks to you for that as well.

Yes, Can you please show us a new updated screenshot with them colored in and attach it to this thread this way we can get a better idea of exactly what you meant by all that. Thanks in advance.

Anyhow, I can sort of see where you are going with this and we appreciate it so I'm forwarding this to our developer in a third feature request also.
