    I have created a employee application form and when you enter text in a field and press enter it automatically submits the application before you are finished. I have required fields and it allows you to submit when nothing is entered. How do I fix this?

    Please go to the following link to see what I mean.

    Hi loganbench

    Thanks for your query. Although I realize it is small comfort, a search of the Internet will reveal fair quickly that this is one of the annoyances with forms in general, not just ours. Nevertheless, there are solutions (sort of). Please see the following threads:

    1 example was to make the fields required... is there a way to make the sumbit button a required field?

    No because once the button has been clicked it has been used. However, you can use conditional logic to hide the button until some or all of the fields are filled. Have a look at this simple example that has the following condition attached:

    Thanks, but then then all they have to is hit "enter"  which I am trying to avoid.

    @mytntboom,

    Sorry but there's no quick and easier solution for that. Please take a look at my colleagues post above for workarounds.
