    Email notifications come through as "JotForm"

    Since June 6th, I have had 3 of our "RADAR Dog Assistance Application" forms come through our email as "noreply@jotform.com". When this happens, it appears that the form was submitted by JotForm. Some of the applications are coming in this way, and others are coming in as noreply@formresponse.com with the submitter's name (this is how we want them to arrive!).

    Why do these emails keep changing? The email notification was fine on June 4th, but a problem on June 6th. I updated it, and it was fine on June 9th. Now on June 10th, the same problem.

    Hello Ken,

    Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. It would not change the sender email  automatically if you didn't change.

    Please check the following link to know details about setup email notifications-


    Hope this may helps. I have checked your email notifications setup and got that the sender email still at 'noreply@formresponse.com'. I'm forwarding your issue to our back-end developer, they'll check and resolve it as soon as possible.

    You'll be notify when they'll update your problem.

    If a method does not work for sending emails, we default to another method. A temporary problem with your SMTP setup might have triggerred the changed.

    But, we have escelated this issue to a developer who will try to find out the reason for it and get back to you.

    As I can't seem to replicate the issue anymore, nor can I find an issue with your form after a series of tests, what we can do for now is observe this activity.  If in any case this problem you've experienced reoccur, please do inform us right away.

    Without making any changes, it appears that the form is now submitting correctly. It must have been a glitch of some sort.

    This just happened again (same for as mentioned above). Someone submitted a form late this morning, and it was fine. We just received another form a few minutes ago, and it says that it is from "JotForm".

    Thanks and apologies for any troubles caused.

    Like my colleagues, this is quite difficult to reproduce. During my tests, it always ended up with noreply@formresponse.com.

    Can you please check the email you received with the name "Jotform" and check its associated email address? I'm just thinking maybe you have added an email contact to your contact list with a name "Jotform" in it which is causing this to happen? Can you please ensure that none of your contact list has Jotform name or email address?

    My colleagues will also follow up if they have anything to share with their findings.
