What I need seems bit different. I want the page title that my form is embedded on to populate as one of the field inputs. Any idea how I can do that? Thanks.

It should be possible with a Form Source code and some custom Javascript code. Can you please provide us with an example of the Meta Tag in question?
Then we will try to help with the code part.

sorry my message is getting messed up using rich text editor.
What i want to do is present a form for users to fill out. However they are already on a page and there is no point of them entering the topic name again. I want a field to prepopulate the page title but not the <title> tag because it has other values in it. I want one of these two (XX or YY) to be called in automatically and filled in one of my fields:
<meta property="og:title" content="XX"/>
<meta itemprop="name" content="YY"/>I am not a coder but know .js enough to be dangerous. Yet after researching many variations I was unable to create a code to pull one of these tags and prepopulate a form field.
hope this helps. thanks.
