How can I make it so people must provide information BEFORE downloading a PDF?

Asked by Sarah  on June 11, 2014 at 01:56 PM

I want to put a form on my website. I want people to give me their name/company name/and email address and after that I want them to be able to download a PDF file. I need the information to be required in order to get the PDF. Is this possible? And if so... How do I go about it?

Yes, this can be made possible by inserting the link to the PDF file on the form's Thank You page which will only be seen by the user if the form is filled out.

The PDF form may be hosted on your site, or on a free service such as Dropbox.

    Here's a demo:

Note: I used a Google link instead of an actual file link. Also, the email field in this demo is an Email Validator widget. This will make sure that the email sent by the user is a valid address.
