Can you route notifications based on specific criteria?

    Hi guys


    Can you control who gets the form based on specific criteria? Let's say I choose ACCOUNTS on a drop down box, it gets e-mailed to accounts@domain.com but if i choose sales, it gets e-mailed to sales@domain.com when submitted.

    Hi Aman

    Thanks for asking. Yes, this can easily be done by setting "Send an e-mail after submission" conditions on the drop down field in question.

    Perhaps the best way to understand how this can be done would be to clone this form and study its saved conditions: Setup & Embed tab > Conditions > Saved Conditions > hover your mouse over each condition and click the edit icon (the little pencil).

    The way how conditions work is that if neither of them is met, the notification will not be sent at all. That's why the demo form has the drop down set as a required field.

    There is an alternative way in which the conditions could have been setup, where you would have two separate notifications: one for the accounts department and the other for the sales department. Then you would configure one condition to send the Accounts notification when "Accounts" was chosen and configure the other condition to send the Sales notification when "Sales" was chosen.
