Best way of recording location/ip of form filler

Since many people lie about their country/city when filling in a form, I would like to capture the visitors ip and do a look up to record the actual location as opposed to the country they have chosen from the drop down country field in my form.

I've tried using the geolocation widget but I can't find a way to hide it from the form since I dont' want the visitor to see it. What is the best way of doing this?

You can use Get Visitor Location Widget to know the user location.

You can add IP Address in Email Notification to know the user IP.
