    Recent Updates

Asked by amhomelife on June 12, 2014 at 10:33 AM

Thank you for the recent updates you made to the date formats, It is nice that users can switch the fields from mm / dd / yyyy.

Part of the problem relies in the download for Excel & CSV format.  Typically when importing the date information into a field into a database or a CRM, the field logic is mm/dd/yyyy format not January 1 1990.  See photo attached of the csv download file.

Could you consider changing the date field output format for downloading to CSV's & Excel files to converting the date field to mm/dd/yyyy.

    Thank you.

You see this when you use the Birthdate picker. It doesn't happen if you use the Calendar (DateTime)

    See the difference (I'm using LibreOffice.calc 3.0)

I will consult this with our developers in order to see if it can be enhanced. In the meantime, I would recommend you to use DateTime, rather than Birthday Picker

Another suggestion would be to change the format of the entire column, to the desired one.
