My form condition logic is not working correctly

    Unfortunately, my form isn't working correctly, when a person selects the District the district number typically is displayed in the district column.  I would like for this form to allow a person to select the district followed by the county name.  Please help.

    Hi,

    I checked your from  http://www.jotform.us/form/41514715865155 condition statements, but there was NO procedures or conditions that makes district number displayed in the district column

     

    The condition statements existing in your form were "Show" condition that display District Country listings according the option chosen in the selection "Select district of petition signer" -- and this conditions were working as intended.

    Can you please elaborate more what it is exactly you wanted to happen on the form District option?

    We will be able to provide you with a better suggestion/solution once we are able to get clarity on the procedure you wanted to do.

    I would like for the district # to be included in the district # column on the spreadsheet.

    Hi,

    Were you referring tot the field "Select district of petition signer" as the District# ?

    Because that field was hidden by condition logic , it will NOT appear also in the spreadsheet integration

     

    BUT if you disable or removed the Hide condition for that field, it will then appear in your the form integrated spreadsheet. I made a test of this process and I was able to see the District# field the form on my test spreadsheet

    So, if you need that field data to also be in the integrated spreadsheet, you must not Hide it in the form before submission.

    Btw, I also noted that in your form http://www.jotform.us/form/41514715865155 , Google Spreadsheet integration is not enabled. 

    If you were referring to download Excel spreadsheet in the form submissions -- the same functionality is applied. The data of the District# field will only appear if the field is not hidden by condition logic.

    Hi,

    Yes, I am also aware of the previous discussion you had with my colleague and the solution offered on that thread.

    Please understand that it was necessary to Hide the "District" field as a solution if you want to prevent the form respondent from filling in multiple District options

    I do have another suggested solution to make the District# still appear/visible in the spreadsheet without disabling or removing the Hide condition for the District# field. That is by adding an additional read-only Textbox field that will serve as placeholder for the value of District# option. Since the the Textbox field is visible in the form upon submission, it should then also appear in the spreadsheet.

    I added the Calculation field (as textfield) like this:

    1. First, you must include Calculation Values to the "Select District petition..." option 

     

    2. Add the Calculation widget with this formula
