I've been trying to downgrade several times now to the free plan, I press the Downgrade button and I get the message (literally):
Your subscription has been cancelled succesfully.
However when I look in pricing, my current plan stays the same. Even if I log off/on I meet the same situation.
It looks like you might need to cancel this subscription manually and check for a potential bug.

You actually have successfully cancelled the subscription. But the automated downgrade of subscription will only take effect until the last date of your subscription or until your subscription have reached its expiration date. So, in your case, since your subscription date falls on the 20th of the month (May 20, 2014), then it will expire on June 20th, 2014 (Monthly subscription). It will only remain at Premium until the expiry date. It will auto downgrade to FREE after.
User is scheduled to downgrade.

thanks a lot, this makes sense.
It is even better than plain cancelling, since the user can still use the premium features that he/she paid for.
